Joining the campaign
You can play a very important part in all our campaigns just by joining Action for M.E. and boosting the number of people we represent. We make sure that your voice is heard. It's really important that people know M.E. doesn't only affect adults; it affects children and young people too. We want people to understand what it's like to have M.E. when you're young – the way it makes you feel and how it affects your education and other things in your life. So why not join the campaign and make some noise?  See Get Involved for more information.

Information
Want to find out more about M.E? Interested in ways of improving your health? We provide quality information to help you cope better with M.E. and to give your body the best chance of recovery. Our magazine, InterAction is packed full of the latest news about M.E., real life stories from people living with the illness and ideas and tips on coping with it yourself. It's a great read for anyone affected by M.E., although the content is mostly aimed at adults.

On this website you can find out more about InterAction and read online a selection of articles relevant to you. If you would like to receive a free copy of InterAction four times a year, all you have to do is join Action for M.E. Don't forget, membership is free if you’re under 18.

For a small charge, members have access to our library-by-post service of books, tapes and CDs. We have loads of titles for you to choose from on subjects like health, diet and relaxation. You can have an item on loan for two weeks and then you just post it back to us.

Welfare rights helpline
The Action for M.E. Welfare Rights helpline is open to members (18 and over) each weekday morning. Our friendly advisers will help guide you through the maze of benefits that may be available to you. You can either call us yourself, or your parent or carer can call on your behalf.

If you would like to join Action for M.E. please complete an enquiry form, or call us on 01749 670799 if you're over 18.
