Your Rights

What if you miss your key stage one and two standard assessment tests (SATs)?

Do not worry if you cannot be at school when they are taking the standard assessment tests (SATs). Your teacher will know that you are too ill to be in school and they will write up their report for you.

If you are able to get into school to sit the SAT, extra support can be provided, such as sitting in a quiet room and having an extra time allowance.

Make sure you plan ahead with your school if you think you are able to sit your KS1 and 2 SAT.
