Are you being abused?

Cartoon character

If you are reading this now and know that you are being abused (it doesn't matter if it's sexual, physical, emotional or neglect) then you are probably wondering what to do about it…

YOU HAVE RIGHTS. You might have talked about Children's Rights and stuff at school in your Citizenship lessons or you might have heard about it on the TV. There are laws to protect children from abuse…it is against the law to abuse children and the only person to blame is the person abusing you - they are in the wrong. It doesn't matter what they have told you…you have done nothing wrong! BUT…you must do something about it. It should never ever be kept a secret.
