Action for M.E. has been campaigning for a long time for better treatment and services for people with M.E. We have achieved a lot already, but there is so much still to do. We need your help to get M.E. noticed! So why not.....
Go on, Make Some Noise!
Tell your story to help and inspire others
We always need people to talk to newspapers, to radio stations, even on television, about what it's really like to have M.E. Journalists will usually speak to you over the phone. If they're filming you, they'll come round to your house. So more often than not there's no need to travel. We'd talk you through the sort of questions they'll ask you, so it wouldn't be too scary!
If you're interested, and would like to get an idea of what you would be doing, take a look at Pia Cato's interview on Mykindaplace.
If you would like to know more, then get in touch!
Join Action for M.E!
Why not join us? By joining the UK's leading M.E. charity you'll have the chance to be part of the campaign to help everyone understand what M.E. is like. Why not find out more?
Spread the word in your community
The more people that know about M.E., the more understanding and support we will start to receive! Putting up posters and giving out awareness leaflets about M.E. in your college, local library, GP's surgery (in fact, anywhere you can think of!) is a great way to get people thinking about M.E. and what it's like to have it. But remember to ask permission first!
You can view the poster and awareness leaflet on line. Simply email your request for posters and awareness leaflets to Action for M.E. Or why not design your own version for your school?
